Beachside Activities

Moonshine Beach, just 6 miles from the hotel, is a safe and family-friendly beach tucked away on the shoreline. The recreation area around the beach includes everything you need for a day in the sun: picnic areas and public-use grills, drinking water, restrooms, a play area and a volleyball court. Parking nearby can be somewhat limited, and there is a $5 access fee.

Are you a ship captain? Table Rock Lake, just 15 minutes from our hotel, has 45,000 surface acres and miles of shoreline for you to explore. With the meandering shoreline of a man-made lake, Table Rock Lake has many coves for you to drop anchor and kick back and relax. Don’t forget a map of the lake if you’re heading out—it’s easy to get lost out there!

For visitors who aren’t bringing their own boat, a variety of marinas provide boat rentals for you to borrow one for the day.

See the Shores

Table Rock Lake is fun to visit year round. You can still fish in the winter, or go for a snowy hike around the lake in Table Rock State Park! To visit Table Rock Lake, leave our hotel and make a left to Highway 376 and follow it to the end where it merges with Highway 265. Make another left, and follow the highway until you see the sign for Moonshine Beach.
